Review of this Book

Upper elementary age children will enjoy the information and activities provided in two-page spreads. Each features an account of part of William Wilberforce’s life, with a related puzzle or word based activity on the second page. What better way to introduce youngsters to the importance of history and concern for one’s fellow man? If the story is read aloud by an adult, somewhat younger children can do the puzzles. A fun learning opportunity!

This is the third title in ICR’s Science for Kids series of small books. Its subtitle is “Exploring Unique Creature Features.” We learn in this delightful book that each creature displays amazing physical appearances and talents. All ages (but especially ages 4-7) will enjoy this book. The illustrations are perfect and the discussion is designed to catch a young person’s interest. There are animals described that not even you parents have heard about!

This book is thought provoking and interesting, but not too hard. Sometimes discussions on
astronomy involve a lot of abstract theory. Not this book. The details are worth absorbing and
good questions make for wonderful interactive learning, especially geared to junior high
students, grades 7-9.

This booklet, in the Heroes of Creation Series, has lots of information about important space discoveries
made in the 16 th and 17 th centuries. The authors describe Kepler’s faith that God created the objects
which he saw in space. Especially appealing for ages 9-12.

Written for kids 3-10, this booklet offers photographs of Earth and space taken by Col. Jeffrey Williams
during his time in the ISS. The accompanying text provides simple sentences and Bible verses that
highlight the gospel message and God’s awesome creation.

We all respond positively to animals with cute faces! Monkeys are definitely in this cute
category. But there is also a lot of learn about these captivating animals! This booklet combines
an appeal to young children with interesting details about monkey biology. The discussion
makes clear that these creatures were definitely created!

Not only did this pioneer in science discovery teach us important new insights, but he also was profoundly interested in God the Creator. He not only studied nature, but he also saw the hand of God in all he observed.
